Rule Of Thirds
Rule Of Thirds is the most vastly used composition grid where the Subject of the image is placed on either the left or the right to give it a more pleasing aesthetic look. The image is divide into 9 parts with 2 equally spaced horizontal lines and 2 equally spaced vertical lines. The four intersecting points of the lines are known as the Power Points. The subject is placed in these power points for the best composition. The Horizontal lines are also used to separate the Background from the Foreground with either a 2:1 or a 1:2 composition. This creates the illusion of a more centered Image. The above image is an example of the application of the Rule of Thirds.
